When Bruce and Sharon aren't in the fields or running the farm stand, their minds turn toward travel. At least once each year, we host a trip to warm places when the fields in Minnesota are covered in snow. These trips often focus on culinary experiences that explore local ways of shopping, cooking, and dining.
For many years, Sharon was a franchise services and training manager for a cruise-specialty chain of travel agencies. In short, she taught travel agency owners the ins and outs of the travel business. It takes a lot of travelling to really understand the nuances that make up the differences between a dream vacation and a "get-me-back-home" nightmare. Sharon has travelled to all 50 states and more than 30 countries. She has been on over 40 ocean cruises. Bruce has been by her side much of the time. They love to travel together.
With farming, each year we experience the ups and downs of weather events, bountiful harvests, and failed crops. We feel that life is a journey. Travel provides the opportunity to relax and rejuvenate. Travel helps us to savor the journey. Join us!
