Cole Crops

 Broccoli, Clementine: Vigorous, healthy plants that provides excellent orange heads. 
​
Broccoli, Diplomat: Its attractive blue-green heads have good heat tolerance, cold tolerance, and produces very uniformly. Can’t be beat in hot weather. Single plant.
Broccoli, Fiesta: Beautiful, heavy yielding broccoli. Uniform plants are medium height, giving rise to 5-7″ blue-green heads. Single plant.
Broccoli, Green Magic:  Beautiful, smooth, medium-sized heads of blue-green broccoli. Plants are compact and grow quite well in containers. Don’t pull them once you’ve harvested the head, though, as plants will
continue to produce lots of side shoots that are just right for snacking or sautéing. This variety has excellent heat tolerance, too. Four pack.
Broccoli, Gypsy: Large, dome-shaped, medium-green 8" heads with medium-tight beads that shed water well. Four pack.​
Brussels Sprouts, Gustus: Medium-sized, slightly oval, remarkably uniform, and grow large farther up the stalk after the plants get topped. Medium green, smooth sprouts well spaced on the stalks with a sweet flavor producing high yields. Single plant.
Brussels Sprouts, Jade Cross: Jade Cross is a fine hybrid that produces high yields of deep green, flavorful, 1/4 to 1" round sprouts on 28" plants. The plants are more compact than other varieties, which makes them less subject to wind damage.
Cabbage, Danish Ballhead: A hardy late type ballhead cabbage with heads 7 to 8 inches in diameter. Excellent for eating fresh or cooked, great for sauerkraut or winter storage. Four pack.
Cabbage, Golden Acre: This early round head cabbage is easily grown and versatile in use. Heads are about 6 to 7 inches in diameter on compact plants about a foot high. Its firm, medium green head is excellent cooked or raw in stews and salads. Four pack.
Cabbage, Katarina: This very early green cabbage is ideal for the spring and summer seasons. Compact plants are suited to tight spacing and have light green, dome-shaped heads weighing 2 1/2-3 lbs. Four pack.
Cabbage, Quick Start: The round 3 lb. heads are a medium green color and have short cores. Quick Start cabbage has good uniformity, a compact plant and high resistance to Fusarium Yellows. It can be grown from spring to fall and has good holding ability for an early variety. Four pack.
Cabbage, Red Acre: The Red Acre Cabbage is a top notch variety of cabbage and is a good early Red Cabbage variety. This lovely 3 pound cabbage variety produces stunning reddish-purple, globe shaped, heads that can add a striking beauty to your vegetable garden or a gorgeous color to meals. Four pack.
Cauliflower, Graffiti: Vibrant purple, good-sized heads. Makes delightful crudités, a delicious cooked vegetable or colorful kimchi. The color fades to bluish-purple when cooked, but can be preserved by adding a tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar to the cooking water. Single plant.
Cauliflower, Snow Crown: The easiest cauliflower to grow early. Medium sized, domed, pure white heads up to 8 inches across. Tolerant to heat and cold. Four pack. 
Cauliflower, Snowball Y Improved: Vigorous, reliable, produces deep rounded pure white heads. Heads grow to 6 inches across and weigh up to 2 pounds. The wrapper leaves provide good curd coverage. Four pack. 
 Cauliflower, Vitaverde: Compact, somewhat raised, clustered, bold bright green curd. The 1.8 lb heads measure 6"x4¼". The sweet mild cauliflower flavor has only a hint of sharpness. Steamed, the texture becomes smooth and a bit firm, the flavor mild, savory, and satisfying. Its lively green is slightly diminished to a warm rich shade, keeping accent and excitement on the plate and the palate. Single plant.

Collards, Cash Crop: Known for having large, heavy leaves, true blue-green color, and a tasty non-bitter flavor. Tolerant to heat and cold. Slow bolting. Tastes better after a light frost. Single plant.

Cucumbers

Cucumber, Eureka Pickling: Very dark green, white spine, late pickle. Fruit have small seed cavity and strong indeterminate plants. Six pack. 

Cucumber, Marketmore 76: High quality slicing cucumber with a small, semi bush vine that promotes easier picking. Fruit is 8 to 9 inches long, straight sided and dark green. Single plant. 

Cucumber, Tasty Green (Burpless): This early burpless cucumber has white spines with dark green tender skin. The 8 - 10” fruits average 1½” in width. The interior is white fleshed with a crisp mild sweet flavor. Grows best when trellised. Monoecious.

Miscellaneous

Celeriac, Monarch: Celeriac is a tasty root vegetable with a flavor similar to celery. It can be diced or grated raw over salads, sliced and boiled, cut into strips for frying, or pureed with potatoes. And its celery-like flavor makes it a wonderful addition to soups and stews. Four pack.
Celery, Tall Utah: Fresh celery is much more aromatic and delicious than store bought. Tall Utah has dark green stalks and a very compact habit. Mature celery lasts into winter with light frost protection. Four pack.

Celery, Tango:  A treat to eat, Tango produces tender, very smooth stalks that are super-sweet and never stringy. The stalks are great for calorie-free raw eating, or used in soups and stews; the seeds can
be harvested for flavoring many recipes; and the leaves are great in salads and as a garnish. Four pack.

Eggplant, Black Beauty: Very attractive, 1 - 3 pound, 6.5X5", dark purple fruit. They keep well, and have excellent flavor. Single plant ($2.50) or Four pack ($6.00.)

Eggplant, Classic: Here is the Eggplant of your parmigiana dreams! With glossy, 8-9" long, teardrop-shaped fruit, this versatile heavy fruiter will give you the taste and tenderness that will keep you
coming back for more. Single plant. ($2.50)

Lettuce, Buttercrunch: AAS Winner. A thick, crisp, juicy, slow-bolting butterhead with a large yellow-white heart and dark green red-tinged leaves. Easy to grow and of the highest quality. Six pack $4.00.

Lettuce, Crispino Green Iceberg:  Medium-size, glossy green, firm heads. More uniform and less susceptible to twisted leaves than most iceberg varieties. High percentage of perfect heads, even when grown in less than ideal, warm and humid conditions. White interior, juicy, and mild. Six pack $4.00.

Lettuce, Great Lakes 118 Heading Lettuce: AAS Winner. Large, firm, crisp head, dark green in color. Large frilled wrappers with excellent flavor perfect for lettuce wraps and salads. Six pack $4.00.

Jericho Romaine:  Tolerant to both heat and tipburn .It is fast growing and can be grown as full sized heads


Lettuce, Parris Island COS Romaine: Medium-large heads with broad, frilled, crinkled leaves. Deep gray green color with cream colored center. Slightly savoy, crunchy juicy midribs. Six pack $4.00.

Okra, Cajun Jewel: Dwarf-type, 2½-4 ft, tall, spineless, plants produce an early crop of tender 1 in. diameter pods up to 8 in. long. Good flavor. Four pack $5.00.

Okra, Clemson Spineless*: Bright green pod, 3-4', slightly ribbed fruit, spineless. Four pack $5.00.

* Especially suited to containers and raised beds.
